PEI Alpharoma
A powerful aroma hop, that has dual purpose abilities - but to optimize cost effectiveness is most often used as a late addition - that can change the life of easy drinking beers with new world flavours. PEI Alpharoma has strong apricot, mango and other tropical flavours that are supported by a resinous backbone. In our pilot brewing program we were interested to find that in lower amounts it performed well in American pale ales, cream ales and other lower alcohol and easier drinking beers. In stronger beers it was most effective when flavour paired with other hops to help support the strong aromas of tropical and stone fruit.
